New guy from Boston

Hi folks - I'm the longtime owner of a 69 Cutlass (350, TH400, console shiftand headers) that I've got way too much time into to probably Ever part with -lol.

Its mechanicals are pretty good, it's body still has rust, but I hope"this is the year" for new rear quarters and a paint job finally!I've always been more comfortable with the mechanicals - and the last thing wasa front brake conversion to discs from factory drums. But last summer I atleast took on Some sheet metal, replacing the full innards of the trunk, alongwith some frame patching and new rear body mounts.

This is a great group and I've come on many times to search for fixes!

Hi Bill:

Welcome to the group. I am in the Lowell area of Boston. I have only been RE-Olds for a year now. Last year I discovered the fun of car shows and I usually go to about 20 or more per year in the Eastern Massachusetts area. Maybe I’ll see you one of them this spring, such as:

May 19: Eastern Massachusetts GMO all Oldsmobile Spring dust off, Kimball Farm, 1543 Lunenberg Road, Lancaster, MA (great show, ill be there)

Car and Bike show
June 8, 2013 at National Aviation Academy in Bedford, MA
(small local show, had fun last year).
