New Guy with a 73
Hi all, I have 73 Cutlass Supreme, I will finally have time to start restoring it in June. Hope to find a few mid 70's Olds guys here, as well as the guys from all the other years. It looks like the Site that supported our years has gone away. I have visited this site several times before and like the way the members get along.
Thanks

Welcome to the site, 73CS! Car looks sharp (assuming that's your white 1 in the pic). Good luck with it.
My bro had '73 CS back in the late 80's. We dubbed it..."The Corvette Killer!" The car was an absolute beast. Still don't know what motor was in it (400+ ci?). If the northeast wasn't so cruel to her, I'd probably own it today!

Excellent, hope to see some pics. Well rebuild is on hold for a little while longer I needed to go in the shop for repairs, down time 8 weeks, then back in with a few more weeks down time. In the mean time I will start getting my list together on parts and get a plan of attack for when I am well. I am still undecided on the engine, freshen the 350, it only has 70K, or rebuild the 455, needs to be totally gone through $$$, well now I have time to think on it.

A few pics from a couple years ago. 350 4bbl Auto, 2:73 Anti Spin diff. No rust, but seals and top are dry rotting. Starting to take it down for restoration. (when Physically able again) Rebuilt complete front end two years ago, went in for alignment and water pump started leaking. So a stock Olds pump will only last about 38 years, darn.

First and foremost....I hope your time in "the shop" goes smoothly. With a 2 month recovery expected then some more, sounds kinda involved. Take care of yourself!
Secondly, I vote for the 455 build. The 350 is probably original to the car so keep that baby on the side while you have a blast with the 455! Interior looks great...original or "restored"? Are those rims painted dark red?
