New Guy
Hello Everyone,
Just joined the site today and look forward recieving advice that would help me in my project car. Its a 71 Cutlass Supreme, that I've had since I was sixteen. I got the car back in 1986 and drove it for a few years till I went into the service. Even had in down in Fla for a couple years where I was stationed. But since probably 1990 its been sitting in the back barn, original 350 came apart, so it sat. For the past 5 years or so I've been slowly rebuilding it. Just about everything has been replaced on it, now it has 403 in it. Built by M & J, just got it broke in a few weeks ago. The pics attached to this thread are old pics, since im at work and these are the only pics on my work computer. The car is pretty much together now, just need to start on the body work and the interior. I'm in dire need of some bucket seats for it though. Nice to meet everyone and look forward to all the knowlegeble advice.

Thanks for the welcome to CO. I wanted to post more recent pics of the car before I went out of town for work, but ran out of time. In the process of installing the floor shifter now. The shifter is mounted, just need to snake the cable to the trans linkage. I wish they would have given a choice on the length of the cable when I bought the shifter, the 5 foot cable that came with it is a bit of overkill. The 3 foot would would be a much neater looking install.I guess I can order the 3 foot one if I dont like the way its gonna look, I'll have to see once I get it routed. I'll try to post the short video of the engine running after the break in was done. That actually went well, no glowing headers, good oil pressure and stayed right between 190 to 200 on the guage. It was about 95 degrees out that day, but I had two industrail sized fans from work to help it deal with the air temp. All and all it went really well. M&J did a hell of a job on it.
