New to site, but I'm been doing a lot of research here. The knowledge base is fantastic!
I've had my 69 442 for several years, original 400/TH400:
I had the heads re-done to solve an oil consumption problem, and the trans rebuilt w/shift kit.
Still having some issues w/engine, but I'll post those in that section.
I've had my 69 442 for several years, original 400/TH400:
- rear end rebuilt by Randy's R&P w/new axles, bearings, seals, et al
- new spicers and high-speed balance by Drivelines NW (solved vibration over 65mph)
- Steering gear rebuilt by RedHead. Tighter turning ratio now, and no more leaks.
- Eldbrock carb, Pertronix, Pypes SS w/stock exhaust manifolds, aluminum radiator, more that I can list
- new front bearings, seals, all springs, shocks, starter, alt, so much more than I can recall
- I re-wired most of the engine bay and some under the dash; fixed ground issues and replaced brittle or corroded wires
I had the heads re-done to solve an oil consumption problem, and the trans rebuilt w/shift kit.
Still having some issues w/engine, but I'll post those in that section.

Welcome to this site! I'm just down the road from you a bit. Lots of 6/69 knowledge on this site for you to tap whenever you need it. I've got a '68 4-4-2 convertible (restored 2007) and my '69 4-4-2 convertible is now going through a complete mechanical restoration, stem to stern. Post some pics of your car when you can. Consider joining the South Sound 4-4-2 Club (meets monthly in Tacoma and we have our annual show at Griot's Garage in Tacoma on 38th every July. This year's show is on July 12th from 10AM to 2PM.

The car is mostly my project, but I have my son, 13, help out. He’s learning a lot on this one!
One of our customers holds a car, truck, and bike show in the fall. It’s a charity fundraiser, and they invite employees and venders to participate.
Vehicles run the gambit from rods, classics, tuners, and cars that you usually only see on Top Gear and Jay Leno’s Garage.
Here’s my car at the show last year. Not too fancy, but a lot of fun talking to folks.

Welcome to the site. I'm just up the road and to the left, on Vancouver Island. Good to see another '69 owner -- we have quite a lobby here! And as OC says, pictures are always welcome!
Randy, now that I know about the Tacoma show, can I come?
