I will keep everyone posted .. I have almost completed my 68 firebird 400HO so I do know some perils of restoration like finding the correct Block tranny and rear end.... So if anyone on here knows where i can find a Pontiac 68 YW block date code Aug to Dec 01 1967, a PY TH400 and a ZB rear end same date codes that would be great.. The 59 super is going to be a big job I know I hope the chassis is still salvageable, I know the floor pans are gone to what extent I don't know yet. I have noticed that it does not have or any signs of having the super 88 script on the body or the chrome chevron at front fender beside head light anyone know if this was an option? .. I do have to get it home yet, it is only 3km from my place.. I am up in northern BC and the ground is still frozen but top few inches thawed and slick still snow around the car.. can anyone decode my vin #9351911775, engine #P9180936? all the sites I have tried only accept the vins and cowl/body tags made in the US it is a Canadian made car 1 of I think 16,000, +, not sur if that's total Oldsmobile cars or specifically the Super 88.

I talked to George at Vintage Vehicle Services today and he has GM info back to 1945 for Canadian built vehicles. $59.95 + $11.00 postage $15.00 for US postage (1945-1962). 1963 and newer $150 plus postage. The newer vehicles have a lot more info thus the higher price. 93519 breaks down as 9 = 1959, 35 = Super 88, 19 = 4 door sedan.
