New guy from N.E. Ohio looking for more info on Olds 403 in my 1979 Trans Am. I've been looking here for a few years and decided to finally register. Lots of good info here, and seems like a good group of Olds enthusiasts.

Your Firechicken looks to be in awesome shape. A lot of those here seem to suffer from plastic degradation.

 

It looks real good from 20 ft.....originally a PA car, went to FLA and I bought it from a guy in WV 3 yrs ago. It's a project for my retired years. It runs well and EVERYTHING on it works. Looks like 1 repaint and left quarter replaced at some point. It's not ever going to be a show car. I just like to drive it.
