The new guy

Hello everyone really excited to be on the site
Just picked up my first 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible I have been searching for about 7 years finally found one that I can afford and build
It is a project car that will need Paint and Body Work, and interior but does run and drive but needs brakes and some suspension bushings
Looking forward to all your comments and input
My name is Chris and ,I live in Peoria Arizona

I am new to the Forum ,not to internet savvy but I will try my best,
I found this website off of a Napa guy who said " we don't have that part and it's not available anymore" but try this website. I am hoping to learn and meet some great people on this site
Thank you

Welcome to Classic Olds, very nice survivor Starfire, you should be able to find everything for that car on here, the one piece you won't find is the aluminium panel across the back with the tail lights. Have fun driving her around, these are great cruisers for the highway.

Welcome. Arizona cars are a piece of cake to restore, compared to the "rust belt".

Come and join the "darksiders" on this thread:
https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...ers-unite.html

I have one pair (you'll need two) of upper control arm bushings on E-Bay right now;

If you want them PM me and I'll knock off ten bucks and ship free.

Hi guys so car is in great running shape, replaced All front bushings and ball joints, I can do 90mph on the highway.
I need help with the rear suspension bushings, can't seem to find them, only thing I found was new control arms by spohn performance. ..does anyone have part# just for the bushings?
Also I'm curious about lowering the car,any info on that?
Thanks
