Do you actually have the car, or is it still on its way from Arkansas?

Welcome to CO! Know a couple of folk out your way. As a result, I am not a growing fan of ütes. I am sure that '58 will stand out on the highways and by-ways of Australia.

Hello again, Yes i have the car here, A friend of mine helped me get the car started yesterday. We found one loose wire had come off the distributor , we put some fuel in the car and she fired up, Wow i was so happy!!!!!!! It was like breathing new life into the car.I will need to replace fan belts etc and service the carby but it was cool to hear her purring away . I have cleaned out the fuel tank and lines and will put some clean fuel in today. It has done 98000 miles and is rust free. I cant seem to find out how i go about loading pictures on to my page? can sombody please advise me. Cheers, Ray.

Looks like the pics made it. That is a very nice example! I would imagine that getting parts might be a pain, but it would be worth it. Congrats and welcome!

Hello I am new here and would like some information I have a friend who has a 62 not sure the exact model. It has 70,000 original miles on it. we are wanting to market the engine which will come with everything inc. the air cond. hoses to the firewall and the power stteering gear box. would sell whole car if someone is interested but will have to get model and all that. It is a 4 door any idea what it is worth on the market. engine is a 455 and would be good for someone building street rod. thanks roverbey

Welcome to the site. The thing that you have going for you with this car is it looks very complete, all of the chrome looks like it's there, that stuff can be a huge undertaking to find.

Good looking car.
