New cutlass owner from PA
I week ago I bought a 63 Cutlass F-85 convertible. After a week of snooping
around it inside and beneath I have discovered SO many things this car needs. Is there a parts source for these cars, and are there any Olds clubs
I can get together with? This is my first classic Oldsmobile and I hope to get it on the road soon.
Any and all information you may have will be a great help to me,and I hope
I may do the same for someone else.

A good parts source for Olds Is Fusick Automotive Group. http://www.fusick.com/
They are very helpful.
Also, you should check out the Olds Performance Club.

Welcome to CO, Russell-T! '63 convertible! Great one! You might also log on to Olds Club of America and find which of the two PA OCA clubs are closest to you. Think there are around 50 OCA Clubs across the USA, and into Canada. OCA Nationals in Reno, NV in late July. Good luck, and once again, welcome!

Not for body and trim. Those kinds of parts will have to come from donor cars. The '61-'63 era Cutlasses, as cool as they are, have nothing like the aftermarket parts support that the later Cutlasses do. Engine/brake etc. parts should be easier but still will often require some hunting.
Fusick, as mentioned, is good, but even they can be thin sometimes in the earlier Cutlass parts support. You can download their current Cutlass catalog here:

Joe Padavano, the tech expert on here, owns a vehicle of yours' vintage and can certainly help I'm sure.
Sounds like you have a nice car. You should post some photos.

Allegheny Rockets (www.alleghenyrockets.org) is in the Pittsburgh area.
Might try this guy. He is a long way from you, but maybe he will ship.
It looks like he is mainly 61/62 but pretty much the same.

A few months ago I saw several ebay listings for a 1961-63 Cutlass Convertible from a wrecking yard in Springfield Oregon. I'm sure they would ship, but don't know how spendy their parts would be. John

As noted, Fusick has precious little in the way of repro parts for the 61-63 F-85 line. These cars are not that popular and the aftermarket has not responded with a lot of repro parts. The 1963 cars are the worst from a parts availability standpoint since they have a lot of one-year-only items, like steering linkage, dash board, and exterior sheet metal. Steele Rubber does have just about all the repro weatherstripping. Kanter has suspension and brake parts. Fatsco has parts for the Rotohydramatic 5 trans. D&D specializes in parts for the aluminum 215. SMS interiors sells correct upholstery and will custom make repro door panels for a price. NOS stuff still pops up on ebay more frequently than you might imagine.
John,
I saw that one also, but I thought I would push the Olds national meet coming to Reno NV. this July. Hot August Nights is the very next week, should be a lot of OLDS there. I should be there with a couple of mine and my son with a couple of his.
