Welcome aboard the CO. Great looking '54. How does the interior and engine bay look?

Welcome to CO

You have three options that I can think of:

1. Have your original repaired. Some radiator shops do this kind of work including installing a liner inside the tank the coating the tank.

2. Start you search for a used tank on this sites parts wanted, e-bay, craigs
list, and check out all the old car wreaking yard sites.

3. Locate a tank in the wrecking yard that has the right dimensions and have the filler neck on your old tank installed on the new tank

Thanks GAOLDSMan.The inside is not to bad, needs a new headliner, pass.doorpanel, and the dirver side seat is ripped.Im going to keep it the same when i replace them.Thing i love about any classic car is the way the interiors have all the chrome and the way they were designed, even the door handles, they just look cool. Not like all this plastic crap nowadys.

Might try those West Texas - Arizona - California recycle yards advertised in Hemmings.
We've had some good luck finding '57 Lincoln parts that way!

Cool car, Izaak! Wow. Bad thing is I remember them when they were brand new; or is that the good thing that I still remember???? LOL! Yep, love everything about them. Keep us posted on your progress. Can't wait for Richard to get ahold of one...........it will be awesome, just hope he won't sell it. His cars are awesome.

Nice car, I like the lace work on the lid. Hope you find a fuel tank and get the car on the road again. Welcome to CO.
