New guy from Chicago

Hello everyone. I just picked up a 1970 Cutlass Holiday Coupe a few days ago. Has no motor or trans but the body is mostly rust free, Car color was bamboo cream(code 50) with black bench interior.Has power steering and brakes, was an A/C car but box was removed. Still, the car will be a nice project. I have owned several Oldsmobiles over the years but this is my first 1970. I hope to learn alot from this forum and share any info and experence that I can. As far as plans for the car,I was thinking a nice SBO/200R4 combo, switch the interior over to a factory bucket/console shifter, aftermarket A/C system upgrade and a four wheel disc upgrade. But plans can change. Will post pics of the car when i figure out how.

Hey Timberice,

Where in Chicago are you? I'm working on my 69 project in Alsip on the south side. Welcome to the site and post some pictures of your new project. I post pictures by clicking on attachment button while writing a post, it looks like a paperclip. Then in the upload file from computer box I hit choose file and click on a picture I saved to my desktop etc. Then hit upload and it should work. It works for me but i'm sure there is an easier way. Heres my project.

Thanks for the tip. Located on the south side of Chicago. I just used photobucket to get my pictures to upload. Nice 69 you got there.
