new

New to olds world. I got my hands on a 67 cutlass a week ago. This looked like a good place to start. The cutlass had been parked in a barn here in North Carolina for a while. It's a solid old car. Has a lot of disco era stuff going on with it. It's a 330 auto car. Suppose to be crystal blue with light blue interior. It is currently wearing some cross between a grabber blue and some other weird mix. I've always been a Chevy guy so the olds is all new to me. I'm really excited about it and need some assistance and a little direction getting her back to the way she was. Hope to make some friends here along the way.

Congratulations on the new Olds and welcome to ClassicOlds!

As you will no doubt discover, a threat without photos is like a Playboy without a centerfold.

Meaning what, exactly? I'm kind of curious. The disco era was generally between about 1975 and 1980, so this car could not have been ordered originally with anything relating to the disco era, at least not on purpose, and not that there was anything you could have ordered on a car even during the disco era to make a car "disco-ey".

Does it have a spinning ball hanging from the dome light? Are there Village People records or tapes scattered about the interior? We want to know!

70's era mags. 50's on the back. Go cart steering wheel. I'm guessing late 70's high back trans/am, camaro buckets. Air shocks had back setting way up when I brought it home. It's got its own 70's vibe going on right now. Very little original going on in some places but that's the direction I want to go back like she was when new. She needs a little love

It's a good leisure suit across the back seat from looking like it could have rolled down the road in American hustle. I love it tho and it's a start.

They are old tires, probably correct on your earlier era estimate.

Don't no. They I'm guessing got put on about the time the go cart steering wheel and under dash horn button. Lots of little things like that to be dealt with.

Nice find and congratulations. Parked in the driveway it makes that Miata behind it look like a pedal car.
