need help!! 350 intake manifold

Bought a 7111 for my 350 I'm building. But the heads are 3a and have water ports exposed on both heads just above both middle exhaust ports. Anyone ever dealt with this? Is there another intake I'm gonna have to use?

So stupid.... So I need the 3711 which will cover those exhaust ports. Is there a way to block those ports off with the 3711?

I have never had to cover them up. If you post pics of the area you are talking about you may be able to get better help. The 7111 has no egr or heat passage for the choke pipe I have never had to block them off. You can for minimal performance gains but its never ban an issue. And I have used both the 3711 and 7111.

Put it this way. Put your intake on dry. Is there any exposed ports ? If not then don't worry . The heat crossovers are just to put a little heat into the intake for colder driving. If that's the case. Now if you has the heads milled etc etc you could have fittment issues but I'm still kind of not following.

Agreed the the 7111 should cover the crossover ports, shouldn't be a problem. 3a's are smog heads you don't mean the air tubes do you? The round holes above the exhaust port.

About once a year someone panics over this. Those are not water ports. They aren't ports, period. They are simply recesses in the castings to save weight. Go ahead an poke at them with a screwdriver. You'll find that they don't go anywhere. Use the correct intake gasket and there is no issue with sealing.
