My66charger

Hello and and I am thankful for the the acceptance. I am not an Osmobile Guy but I did own a 1984 once and drove the family everywhere very good car. Living in Losangeles it was sadly stolen. Now I am a Dodge Truck; Hemi guy! I also restore Mopars of any Kind I will post the pictures of my 1966 4 Speed Charger. One of few remaining? Again thank you I just wanted to mention my bad experience with Bumper Boyz! Thanks again I look forward to also discuss Oldsmobiles! Cars in General!

Back from the Alignment shop kudos to Bear Frame and Wheel! Thanks for the 3/4 inch wrench and the Camber Adjustment!

Out running around just back from the Dragstrip!

My neighbors get upset when the thunder from 700 HP start to early!

Some new Charger Floor Mats from Legendary Interiors!

Sucking up some pump fuel at 76 Gas Station.

Tip: New Dash Chrome I learned for whatever reason the Coronet although on the same unibody shares narrower dash Chrome they do not interchange with a 66/67 Charger!

Just more fun break in drive!

Rear Legendary floor Mat!

Beautiful looking car, whoever restored it did well, or it has been very well cared for it original condition.

My66charger: I restore cars in my retirement. I restored this Charger I also restored my 1970 Challenger. I did a complete Rotisserie on a 55 T Bird. I might have pictures of the Oldsmobile it was an 1984. Looks like one on this site they made thousand of them. The Insurance paid it off. I have restored many Mopars over the years. I cut no corners and properly restore my cars I figure why put in the time only to do a poor job? I would rather take the extra time and make beautiful Mopars!

They are rare cars my 1966 Charger. They say there are 2.7 -4 Speed Cars in existence. Mine has Bendix Disk Brakes, Head rest, a 4 -Speed with a Hemi. The 1966 Hemi. It also came with a True Lock Dana Rear End and NO HEMI Badges? A real Sleeper! Why would Dodge build a car and put a simple V8 fender emblem with a Hemi? Lol Oh well they really made a rare car!

Very cool ride - this was my '68 that I owned for about 10 years - 440 R/T clone which I went mostly all thru during that time. Sold it a number of years back after moving to FL because it was generally too hot here to drive triple-black... My all time fave Mopar tho... If you ever saw the old American Musclecar series Charger episode on what used to be Speed Channel (now Motor Trend TV), it was a live feature car on that one.

Wait a second ... are you saying this is a factory Hemi car that came with "'V-8" callouts instead of "426"?

V8 Emblems on fenders rather than Hemi Emblems.

Yes.I restored the Charger as I found it the Charger has the Coronet Hood Scoop and the V8 Badges. I thought maybe the front end had been replaced maybe wrecked. At one time in it's existence? Nothing. No damage no sign of anything but factory spit Welds. This leads me to believe this car was ordered in this odd configuration. After speaking to many old timers I was told when you ordered from Dodge that you could request different hoods and the like. Who knows I tryed finding something on the Data Plate Dodge made with every car and it is Blank. That 1968 charger is really nice.

But it's a legit H-code, huh? And the fender tag is blank? Weird. Well, I'm sure it wouldn't be the first factory anomaly or error.
