My next Cutlass (long)

Hello,

I have been away from the 442/Cutlass owners' club since I was about 24 14 years ago, but my love affair with the '69-72 Cutlasses and 442's is one of my first life memories and dates to my father's '71 Cutlass Supreme Hurst 3-speed convertible. He sold the car when I was about 7 but I later researched it and found it to be one of 26 made. It was white on black with Rayelle I wheels which really made the look of that color combo. I eventually tried to buy it back with money I had saved by 17 and that is a long story for another time.

Instead I ended up with a green on white (with an olive bucket interior) '71 Cutlass that had been fairly well restored that went when I bought my first house.

My best friend growing up has offered me his mom's yellow/black '72 Cutlass Supreme hardtop with a DUALGATE at a number I cannot say no to. I need a sunday car and a project. It is basically a one owner barn find, and I am going to post about it in the main forum. I am going to need lots of help and look forward to making acquaintances.
