My 72 Cutlass S

I'm in the game. Check out the video of my stripped 72 fastback.

Someone tell me what color I should paint it

Nugget gold is an option. Glad to see somebody is enthusiastic in Wisconsin!

Welcome to C.O.
Watched your video. Looks like you've had a fair bit of work done already. There are 'kits' for the trunk - complete pans, fillers and drop downs at reasonable prices. How are the inner liners?

I noticed you called this a Cutlass S. When I looked through the videos there are several indicators that say it isn't. The interior panels/seats, rear deck lid trim are all indicate the base Cutlass. Check your VIN. If it was a Cutlass S it would start out as 3G87. I'll bet yours starts 3F87.

Far as color to paint? You're going to be the one driving it. Pick a color you'd like. If you're keeping the interior color - something that works is Bamboo, Saturn Gold, Emerald Green, Sunfire Yellow, saddle bronze or cameo white. Couldn't really tell from the video, but I'm guessing it's original color was Baroque Gold > code 57 on the cowl tag where it shows PNT. You should have a letter followed by a number there.

Yeah that's the feedback I've been looking for. I do believe you may be right. It might not be a Cutlass s. I think the inner liners are ok. You've given me confidence that I am on the right path. I'll keep you updated....
