Cool Muncie 4 speed

anyone know what the electric wire connection is for on my 72 4-speed,
It's located just below the clutch fork??

Clutch safety switch, starter won't engage unless clutch pedal is depressed.

Welcome to CO. That is the TCS switch. When it is all hooked up and working it would have a wire run to the TCS solenoid. This system only allows the vacuum advance to work in high gear.

TCS = Transmission Controlled Spark

Nope, sorry. The clutch safety switch is on the clutch pedal. As noted above, this is the fourth gear switch for the Transmission Controlled Spark system. TCS was an early emissions control system that disabled vacuum advance in all gears except high to reduce NOx emissions.
