I purchased a 1972 Cutlass Supreme conv. and have to put a trunk floor in it. I have a 3 piece floor kit the braces and gas tank support straps. Do the braces bolt to the frame bushing and the floor then welds in on top of them? I know the tank supports weld to the floor, I see what's left of the old ones. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is my 67, the 72 is probably similar. Gas tank mount is spot welded to front and back of floor pan and the frame mount piece gets welded to the tank mount and the floor pan gets tacked to all of this.

72 Cutlass

The braces I have are longer and run parallel to the car frame.
