Long time reader First time contributor

Every time I Google questions in regards to my 67 Cutlass Supreme Convertible it leads me to threads from Classic Oldsmobile. The information from this website has helped my project tremendously. Currently doing a complete chassis and drivetrain rebuild with the addition of OEM factory options included. My goal is to keep the car looking stock but add modern upgrades, the proverbial ‘wolf in sheeps clothing’.

We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Factory aquamarine black on black combo. It came with bucket seats but changed to bench to fit the family+1. It’s a father sons & daughter project that has been on jack stands for almost two years now.

Buttoning up the suspension upgrades and getting ready for the
engine. Replaced old body bushings with polys and went with
Johnny Joints for the rear suspension. Up front are tubular control
arms and Savitski chassis brace. 17” billet SSI with Pirelli tires.
Global West stiffer rate springs on all four corners 1” fronts .5” rear.
QA-1 single adjustable front and Edelbrock rear shocks.
Can’t wait to get her back on the road.
SPC upper control arms. Four wheel disc brakes. AGR quick ratio steering box.

In the mock up stage for brake lines to rear discs.
Chassis mount rear sway bar.
T/A diff cover to re-enforce the Powertrax & 3:55’s

Replaced the rear Edelbrock shocks with QA1 shocks. Now have single adjustable shocks on all four corners. The rears came with a lower bracket that splays it out a little more and turns the adjustment dial rearward for easier access. I bought them from a racer and he fabricated the brackets.
On the lowest setting the rear was easy to push up and down. Five clicks on both shocks and the rear stiffened up a lot, have a total of nine.
The body is a little fatter so the access holes in the tubular lower arms had to be widened. The poly lower spring pad was shaved to fit the adjust dial.

Well can’t leave well enough alone. Have to take the front and rear suspension apart again to add these little beauties. Global West came out with some new steering arms and Umi has these slick RLCA brackets. I like the ability to adjust components for my needs. Does anyone have any experience with these?

These are reported to take an average of 0.10 of a second off sixty foot times. Part #4012

The angle of the tie rod attachment hole. These knuckles are supposed to help with bump steer on lowered vehicles with after market upper control arms.

The length is 1/2” shorter than original to speed up steering response. Part# SS-6472GSKB
