Question Legal lettering and logos if for personal use?

Hi!
If one states that it's for personal, non-profit use only, may one share files and images for/of lettering and logos to help people make personal stickers and such?
... I have recently made some PSD and PNG files of the old hood logo/lettering since I plan to make myself some stickers, but what about sharing them here on the forum?

Being I have some experience with this, I can tell you that those files will not work well if at all for decals. You need a vector file. PNGs in particular are garbage for making decals.

Copywrite and trademark protections only apply to commercial use. You can make a copy of copywrited material for personal, not-profit use with no issues.

There exists copyright protections. Perhaps, that's what you were thinking of?

Okay, well, I guess I could always convert them to vector files then. Thanks!

Is that a yes or a no regarding the personal use?

The term "copywrite" is not correct. An individual who writes copy is called a copywriter. This individual creates & writes copy.

"Copyright" is the correct term. Copyright protection applies to commercial use, only.

Aha, I missed that it was misspelled; I focused too hard on the information itself. Thanks for clearing things up for me.
