Las Vegas Newbie
Hello, Thank goodness for this sight.
My name is Jon, originally from Michigan now residing in Las Vegas. My technical car knowledge is small to beginner, but I truly love my Olds!
I will start at the beginning......
My first car was a 1979 Cutlass Supreme Diesel converted to gasoline with a 350 rocket engine. It had one cherry bomb on and one in the trunk, a cracked windshield (several), and a ton of rust. For $750 bucks it meant freedom!
My next car was a 1986 Cutlass Salon t-top with a 305 engine (i think).
This one was a beauty and the women loved it, but I had to leave it behind when I moved out to Vegas.
Now after 12 years of Chrysler Products (Dodge Intrepid, Breeze) I have a
1979 Cutlass Supreme. Purchased at auction she (susie) ran for a year and then blew the Head Gasket. Susie has a 260 V8 with a beatiful body and no rust.
Thanks!

Welcome to C.O.
I'll bet Suzie would love to have an Olds 350 dropped into her. The 260 wasn't much of an engine IMO, I had one in an 82 Cutlass Supreme (T top) I bought off the showroom floor. Good gas mileage in the city but not much for power on the highway.
Please post some pics of your ride. I'm familiar with the body style - I also owned a 78 Cutlass Calais.
