Welcome to the CO and might I say what mighty fine examples of the Olds line you have!! Great pics in your album Can you tell us more about them? Your low OCA number proves your admiration for great autos for a long time and I hope to chat with you further.

I bought the '65 in March of '66 from a friend of mine who wanted a new Toro. I went with him to pick it, so I actually had the first ride in it too. (We took it off a remote lot for a test ride) Boy were we impressed. I was married and this was our family car. Did a lot of street racing and beat many a GTO. Retired her in the early 70's when we bought a '69 Vista Cruiser. I guess that was a better family car. In '81 I took the front clip off, took out the motor rebuilt, cleaned and detailed everything. Then worked my way back cleaning, painting and detailing the whole undercarriage. The seats and rugs were replaced and that's it. She still has the original Target Red paint. It held up exceptionally well. Did the whole car show thing, many Olds National meets and trophies. Now it's just cruise nights and weekend drives. I've kept this car all these years because I never tired of her. It's a great car to drive.
