Good Afternoon I look forward to being a part of this group. I just recently acquired a project in a 1941 Oldsmobile series 60 66 Business Coupe. I will post Pictures later. Will probably be asking for information, that's for sure.
It probably looks like this. The "Special Series 66" Business Coupe was the very lowest-cost Oldsmobile that could be purchased for 1941 with a base price of $852 (equivalent to about $15,000 in 2021). Production totaled 6455 cars. The most popular '41 66 model was the 2-dooir sedan with a production of 30,506 and a base price of $898. The most expensive '41 66 model was the station wagon with a base price of $1104 followed closely by the convertible with a base price of $1048.
The "66" indicates that the original engine was a 100-hp, L-head, 232 cubic-inch straight-six "Econo-Master" engine. Is that what's in it?
As said, we do want to see photos of the car. Some say that, until we do, it doesn't really exist!

Hi gmorris61. Congratulations! I also joined just a couple of weeks ago with a 41 sedan. I presume both of us may end up with similar issues to fix our cars and it will be good to share information. Will keep an eye on anything you may post. Will wait for your car's pictures too. Manuel
