Jetaway
"fit on"?
as in bolt up to w/o hassle?
YES, GM transes exc. brand C are very interchangeable.
Jetway to jetaway you should not have ANY issues like electrical vs cable kickdown, overall length [therefore driveshaft length], fill tube location and shape, selector attachment, nothing... easy as pie. Both should be Switch Pitch.
If you don't know how to tell, do a search here, at ROP, and on the net in general....

The only thing I'm not sure of is the tailhousing length on the J88 versions of the Junkaway, er, Jetaway. Other B-body transmissions were typically long-tail versions, whereas the A-body cars used the short-tail transmissions.
I checked in the Olds parts book and it says;
Group 4.317 Extension, Trans housing (Tailshaft housing )
64-69 F-85 J.T. (Jetaway) 6260035
65-68 J.T. Except F-85 1368637
From this it can be inferred that since the tail housings are different, It is probably due to their length.
I know from experience that TH 350's had two different lengths depending on which body (AorB).
ROP = Real Olds Power. Another Olds oriented websight.
