Intro-Trading for 69 442
I'm new to the Board, from the East Texas area and just wanted to introduce myself by saying that I in the process of trading for a 69 442. Platinum silver with blue bucket interior, positraction and the best part is the factory 4 speed with cold air for the Texas temperatures. Matching numbers drivetrain as well as Overall an awesome well preserved original 442 which for someone like myself who appreciates originality, I'm pretty excited about the trade.
The trade involves a 70 Buick GS455 with TH400 that is very nice, original and in immaculate condition, but I just don't enjoy it as I should.
Anyway, glad to join this group and I know pics are king, but it'll be a couple of weeks or so before I pick up the 442.
Looking forward to learning more about these fine automobiles.

Wow beautiful car, I love the 69's. So where in east Tx. are you? Im more south central near College Station. I actually work in College Station. Yeah my goal is to have an Olds, Buick, Chevy, and Pontiac. Im 3 for 4 as it is. I always wanted a 70 GS Stage1 or Stage II, or the ultimate, a GSX, but I would also love to have a 70 Electra 225 limited like the one my dad had new in 70, beautiful car! Good luck with your new olds, I love it.
