Welcome to C.O. That is a very nice car, the color is outstanding!
How does it feel to drive on the other side of the car?

Hi Gene, ive been driving american cars for the last 24 years so it's not a problem, anyway i wouldn't have it any other way it's all part of the fun of driving a classic american car.

Welcome.

Do we drive on the wrong side or do you?
A two-tone treatment would and make the car stand out a lot more, you ever consider a silver-grey, pastel yellow or Robin's egg blue for the rear?
In the 50's green and blue matched.

A nice car, a two tone paint with a light pastel green would look good.

A beauty. A freind of mine had a four door Super 88 in the same green with a white top. Brings back memories. A convertible is rare and very attractive.

Love the car and color. What part of England are you from? My greatgrandfather worked and trained at Kew Gardens. The nursery he started over here is still going after 4 generations.

I love your car! I was going to second the many comments about the color of the car and was about to comment that I don't think it could look any better but I think your idea is a splendid one. The car would look very good with the correct lighter shade of green on top. With the white convertible top that would be really, really nice.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

Don't worry about driving on the wrong side of the road. It happens to me when I have a cigar lit, a cup of coffee and someone calls me on my cell.

Sweet ride. A 54 Holiday is very close to the top of the list for the next car I want to build myself.

I, too, admire your car, but for a moment I thought vandals had stolen your roof until I saw the last pic...

Welcome from down here. Lovely car. Two tone green would look excellent and I like Blue's suggestion for silver / grey (with maybe silver / grey-green). My ancestors were from Kent. Never ever rose to Convict status I'm afraid. Just boring old free settlers. Don't imagine you're doing any top-down cruising at the moment

Hi thanks for the welcome message, i have family and friends that live in Victoria but ive never managed to get there, love you car by the way. As you would expect our roads are covered in salt at the moment and we have had snow on and off for the last 5 weeks so know cruising.

Bet your all in shorts n stuff

Yep,..shorts'n'stuff......the "stuff" being personal flotation devices 'cos it hasn't stopped raining for 2 months. Lots of flooding down this way.
You should jump on a Jet at Heathrow (good luck with that) and fly down to Victoria for the Boxing Day Test and see the family....in that order. The Ashes series is always the first priority.
Enjoy C.O and a white Xmas.
