I'm 55 and bought a 56

Hey All! I just joined the forum today, and am taking delivery of my 56 88 tomorrow morning. My father owned a 56, and he passed it on to my son. I am now in a position where I can afford a classic of my own, and what better way to carry on the tradition than to add another 56 to the family. My son and I live in the same town, so we'll be working on the two 56s together. My son is the one who told me about this forum, and I'm glad he did. Not sure how well I'll sleep tonight...I feel like I'm a little kid waiting for a Christmas morning that just won't come fast enough.

Hey KVP, Where and when did you pick up your 56? There was a mechanic at a Marathon station in Park Ridge that had one similar to yours some time ago. Wondering if it's the same car?
