I suppose I'm new here
Hello everyone.
Newbie here obviously. Name is Andy, live just outside Buffalo NY and have a couple Oldsmobiles.
1964 Olds Cutlass F-85 (not sure on the exact model, has power windows and some other options, need to get the VIN/ID numbers and see if I can figure it out)
1966 Olds Cutlass F-85 Deluxe
The 64 is getting the 455 I've been building. Nothing too crazy, just a fun street/strip car to get around in.
1970 455 block
Performer RPM Heads
Mondello JM-20-22 Cam
TH350 w/3000 stall
enough of the boring stuff. Pictures of the 64

It says "F-85" on the front fenders and on the dash, so it's not a Cutlass. It would say "Cutlass" in those places if it was.
It's a two-door post coupe, so that makes it either an F-85 Club Coupe or an F-85 Deluxe Sports Coupe. No hardtop (Holiday Coupe) 2-door was offered in the base or Deluxe F-85 lines in 1964.
The second digit of the VIN will give the answer. The first digit will be either a 6 or an 8 and will tell you whether the original engine was a V-6 or a V-8. If the second digit is a 0, it's a base F-85. If the second digit is a 1, it's a Deluxe F-85. If the second digit were a 2, it would be an F-85 Cutlass.
The third digit will be a 4 and indicates the 1964 model year. The next character is a letter denoting the plant of manufacture, and the last six digits are the serial number from that plant. As far as the plant, the letter will be one of four: M=Lansing, B=Baltimore, F=Fremont, California, D=Kansas City, Missouri.

Nice car ! I love the 64&65 cars
Just a hint you might need to modify the radiator support to get a bigger radiator to help cool that big block down
Post up some pic if that 66 that's hiding in that pic
Again welcome to co !!!

Thanks for the welcomes guys.
Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll go out and check the VIN tonight.
Yeah, got that part covered. Picture from the old garage. Have a big fat Griffin Radiator plus a trans cooler and a dual electric fan behind it.

Why have I never seen these cars around? I live in Hamburg, too.
Of course you've probably never seen any of my Oldsmobiles either. I'd actually have to drive them for anyone to see them.

I'll have the 64 out this summer for sure, I'll keep an eye out for the Delmont. Love the back-end of those years, one of my favorite set of lines there is.
