Smile Howdy Yall

Howdy Y'all Cody Winters here from Charleston SC. I am crazy about tinkering and messing around classic cars. I am nuts about the 1962 Olds Jetfire and am looking forward to getting one of my own one day. Looking foward to learning about these cars of the Rocket Division.

Hey welcome to Classic Oldsmobile. Sit back and use your search option. There are plenty of the cars you are into. Feel free to ask questions. Very helpful and knowledgeable people here.

Thanks Mate, I found a beautiful Jetfire for sale, it's the one featured on the Wikipedia page about the f85, it's for sale in Connecticut, now I am putting in the hours researching about parts and the ins and outs of em.

Way back in the 1962 model year I took my first turbo powered ride in a showroom fresh Jetfire. Even though more than 60 years have past, I still remember the street location and glancing down at the boost gauge in the console.

The good old days, when the auto industry was in its heyday. The Jetfire is by my standards still modern, Turbocharged aluminum V8 that can give 30+mpg and still go 0-60 in less than 10 seconds? that's modern car territory. And it still looks like could sell if released today.
