Howdy from the north - 52 Olds Super 88

Howdy from up north of the border here in Alberta. Just bought a 52 Super 88 and already getting into things, nothing better than moving from a flathead six to a Rocket 303!

Welcome aboard. We love the 50's Oldsmobiles and when you get a chance post a few pictures for us to admire.

There are quite a few knowledgeable members here that have your vintage car and are happy to help if you need it , many hang out at the vintage forum but any appropriate forum usually gets you a answer ....Lost in the fifties ..Tedd

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Since this old gal is new to me, it has to get the rounds of the shops to ensure that all the things I can't do are checked and verified. I want to ensure a long life for this car, hopefully longer than me!

Thanks y'all. Nice to be able to talk to the experts on 'specifics' as opposed to just the generalists!

That is 1 beautiful car. Someone has shown it lots of love. There are a lot of things you can do yourself to ensure the car is maintained and stays serviced. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here to help.

Great looking car, even the interior looks fabulous! Where in AB are you? Hard to tell from the pics. So the car came from BC, did you get any of it's history from the PO?

You bringing it to the Rocket Roundup in Olds AB this July?
