Smile howdy!

I'm James. I made this account a while back but never used it much. I have lurked the forum for a long time mostly reading troubleshooting posts but this is my first post. Got a rainy day today and nothing to do so I figured I'd fire up the ole confuser and introduce myself and my car haha. My main rig is a 71 olds ninety eight 4 door that I have owned for 7 years, I purchased it from a neighbor when I was 18. I don't do many miles but the car has been my daily since I purchased it. I did my first engine rebuild on this cars 455 and have had a lot of learning experiences with it in general. The motor/trans have some mild upgrades. I also have a 68 impala 4 door, I dig all kinds of cars and trucks too but oldsmobiles are my favorites by far. I have some experience working in automotive but mostly just do it for fun. I worked for Arias racing for a bit and I was also a hybrid/electric car mechanic for a while. I live in SoCal Torrance the home of hot rodding! Thanks guys for all the great info, I have learned a loooot from this forum. I don't get on the computer much but I will try to be active on here when I can.

James , welcome to CO . Like the fender skirts , and I like my 4 doors . Seeing that you have worked as a hybrid /electric mechanic have you thought about making a big 4 door Olds hybrid or full electric ?

Your experience is very rich, to you in the car will be very helpful, can you know how many cylinders your car engine is?
