Not long I think it is 2 posts and then one of the mods does there stuff and no longer a newbie. There was a big problem with spam, this has helped alot. Tell us about your ride and plans and where you are located.

Where did you see that? We need to correct that. Not rules, but here is a guideline for posting. You are a registered member and can post just about anywhere anyone else can.
edit: really, nobody is actually a newbie any longer as most members move from new member status to registered members status the moment they make their first post.

I will notify Paul and we will see what can be done to correct this. As I recall, it is not true, the box pops up but you will be able to post if you just go ahead and do it. We will get to the bottom of this though, I promise.

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back with y'all on this. From what I can tell, it's a bug in the current version of the forum software. What I'm doing is pushing our owners to get us upgraded to the latest version of the software, which will hopefully solve the problem.
In the mean time, if anyone has this keep them from posting, just message Dan (Oldsguy) or I and we can get you fixed up via the Admininstrator tools.

I weaked your profile so test something and let me know if it works now. If not, can you described further what you mean by "locked" please? Does this mean you cannot view certain forums, or you cannot post in them for new threads, or you cannot reply to threads? Which forums work and which don't? Or does your profile display "locked" somewhere and you haven't tried posting?
If you can give me some examples I can run this down for you. Your profile has you set correctly as a "Registered User" which means full access to everything, so I need to see what you cannot see or get into.
