hood to fender bumpers

hood to fender bumpers

does anyone know of a easy way or just a way period to to install those rubber bumpers that go on the inner topside ot the fender it seems impossible been working on 1 allday ?

The slot part of the rubber may be too big check to make sure it's the right width. If it is i used a small standard to gently push the edges into the slot.

bumpers

I replaced several rubber bumpers on my car recently (trunk, doors, etc.) and found silicon lubricant helped get them in.

for 70-72 you can reach up under the fender from the front with a pair of pliers and pull the front two in. you will have to take the battery out to reach your arm in there. also, can you take the inner fender loose and reach up in that way?
