Hi from Rhode Island

Hi Everyone,
I am a 16 year old high school student living in Warwick, RI. I worked as a construction laborer last summer and saved to buy my first car which is a 1972 Cutlass. I try to work on it as much as I can. The cutlass was all original 350 2 barrel automatic with shift on column. I have installed headers with 2 1/2" exhaust. i have also bought a used Edelbrock intake and a 4 barrel Rochester carb that my dad has not showed me how to install yet. For Christmas I got a gallon of fire orange metallic paint. I do need some small patches of metal to fix the rear quarters if any one has some from a parts car I could buy them. I also could use some upper rear tail light lenses, the person who had the car before me drilled them and put blue dots in them. I hope to learn more from this group. Back to class before I get caught LMAO

Welcome, plenty of parts available for that year, just ask, and you'll be pointed in the right direction.

Welcome young Grasshopper.

To heck with father, if you want we will show you the way to the peace and enlightenment of manifold change.
You need a couple of more parts to get there, piece-o-cake.

I know the feeling. Last Christmas, I got a bottle of Windex and three new rags.

Just kidding.

It must be very interesting to see what's scattered around your family's tree on Christmas morning!

That's Funny

I also got a laptop, my letterman jacket, a composite hockey stick and clothes. My grandfather actually bought me the paint. If my mom and dad gave me windex and 3 rags I would have been just as happy.

Welcome aboard! My first car was also a 72 Cutlass but a 4 door. Had a lot of fun with that car!
Did you find your car on Craigslist last year by chance for about $900?? The car in your avatar looks almost like the one that got away from me last year...

You'll have a lot of fun with it and there's a lot of great helpful people here.

Great non-occupation.
What a haul on X-Mas too, I can take or leave clothes unless they're coveralls.

I think those are elfs chasing you in the pic kenrod?
It doesn't look fair...for them.
How many do you have to peel off the ice at the end of the game??
Or does the Zamboni handle it?

May I recommend The Ultimate Cloth insted of Windex and paper towels?
It really works, I know it's a litle scary when something really works like they say it does.
Respected and feared member Jamesbo turned us on to it, he has his people do the windows with the Ultimate Cloth at the chateau in France he bought with his percentage of the cloth take.

Good sales pitch there, Blue!! I'm sure Tim the Ultimate Cloth guy appreciates it!! Kenrod.... if you show the parents how well the Ultimate Cloth works, you may get a bigger haul next Christmas!! LOL!

Seriously, the Cloth is great. It really does a great job on house windows, car windows, etc... beats the heck out of lugging around paper towels and glass cleaner. I use mine all the time!! Ok Tim..... is our commission check in the mail yet? JK!
