Hey you guys... Newbie here.

I'm visiting from the F body side of GM. It's a familiar story, I'm here to find out about the lightning rod shifters. I have seen in the posts that it can be difficult maintaining these systems. I have left a few msg's, I have sent a few emails, I have registered on other sites all with the usual suspects and no response as of yet. Other than you guys that is , you guys responded.

So, I have a L-rod and I may use it in my hotrod F body if I can. It was locked up and pulled it apart cleaned it up and it's working now. I think it's a 3 speed but could be a warn out 4 speed... I just can't really tell? Do they LOCK into OD? I can post a few pics if needed.

I guess my question is... What it the status of these shifters? Who is working on them? Is there an L-rod Jedi Master??..lol..
Where are we on the L-rods??....

I guess I will post over in tranny's also...
Thanks, Paul...

P.S... Paul, Central Florida, 67' Firebird conv. BBC, blower, 4 wheel disc, was M22 but converting to auto....
