Help! Pulsing idle problem....

Hi everyone, new member here, owned many an Olds but just got back in the game. Picked up a '72 Cutlass Convertible last week, the inspectioin sticker was from '95 so it's been sitting. Having a rough idle problem, its barely idling and "pulsing". Tuned up, replaced points, set dwell, timing etc. Still doing it. Any ideas? Vacum leak? Carb rebuild? Checking compression tomorrow.

Not sure if I would be qualified to say but my guess would be look closer at the carburetor, perhaps the idle mixture is set too lean.
