Hello ! I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on this? I have a 1927 Oldsmobile Roadster Convertible. I know there was only 2,220 of that model made total for that year. I know this is a very rare car and there are few out there. I have the original title and everything. The car does need to be restored but everything is there (it even has the cute little window curtains
What/ and how do I price this out? It was going to one of my husband's projects that he never got to before he passed away. It has been sitting in the garage with a tarp over it since. Any help would be great!! Thank you!

Welcome, sorry to hear of your husbands passing. Pictures would help a lot as it could be worth anywhere from $12-34k based on the NADA Classics listing for a running/driving car. Condition and collectability is what will really determine price. Just because a car is old and there are a limited quantity doe not necessarily lead to great monetary value.

I do have an add on craigs list with pictures. I have no price because I was told so many different things of the car. One man came in and couldn't believe how nice the condition was on the car. I want to sell the car at a fair price for what it is worth and not be "taken" on it. I have no idea what my husband paid for it. Any insight would be great
Thank you in advance!

Hopefully there is a member close
by you that could come over and
really look it over and with a camara and to get a
few more shots. Sounds like your hubby
had a nice collection. Sorry for your loss.
Good luck to you and your family.

According to Setting the Pace, Oldsmobile had one model, the 30E, in 1927, and it was available in 11 different body styles. One of those was called "Deluxe Roadster," and it's the only one with the word "Roadster" in the style name. All Oldsmobiles that year came with a 185 cubic-inch L-head 6-cylinder engine putting out 40 hp.
Production was 2,474 out of a total of 86,754 Oldsmobiles made that year, so, yes, it's not just rare for being a 1927 car, it's rare as far as 1927 Oldsmobiles go as well.
From those two craigslist photos, the car looks to be in rough, non-running condition. Cars this old don't change hands very often, so pricing is very subjective. The Old Cars Price Guide lists the value of a non-running but restorable '27 Olds Model 30E Deluxe Roadster at about $3,000. Get it running, and the value rises quickly into the $5,000 to $10,000 range.
