Hello from Wisconsin!

Hi. My name is Chris. I've been into Oldsmobiles my whole life. I currently own a '69 Ninety Eight LS, and an '87 Cutlass Supreme. My dad has a '66 Cutlass. This looks like a great forum!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I don't have many pics right now, but I will work on it.

My grandpa was an auto mechanic his whole life, he drove nothing but Oldsmobiles. He swore by them. Lots of 60's Delmonts and Deltas. When he died in '97 I got all of his tools and his box, the thing is like a big red Craftsman time capsule. Everytime I use one of those tools, I think of him, and how hard he worked his whole life.

My dad had many Oldsmobiles too. '69 Cutlass S, '71 Delta 88, '75 Cutlass International Edition, '81 '82 '83 Cutlasses. He pulled the diesel ot of the '82 and put in a 455. And an '8? wagon. Those are just the ones I remember, there are more. Two summers ago he bought a '66 Cutlass that is really solid at an auction for $400!

I've had my '87 Cutlass since I was 15. I'm 23 now. It has a 307 and a 200-4R. I daily drive it every summer. I do have a 403 waiting. . . It's a work in progress, but isn't that how all our cars are? Last summer I got a '69 Ninety Eight from my dad for free! He bought it for the 455 to put in his Cutlass. I'm currently building a '66 Toronado 425 for this car.

That about covers it for now!

Chris,

Welcome! You are at the right spot for help. As I am in WI too (Milw.), I wonder, where are you located?
