Hello, Olds people!

Hello from the Lone Star State!

Just bought myself an excellent condition 1972 Cutlass as a daily driver. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions on replacing items that are worn on the car, and I look forward to hearing from all of your experience and advice.

A little bit of history about myself, I'm a college student who's made a career change within IT (I was Help Desk and Destop PC support, now going into IBM Enterprise systems admin and programming)

I have lots of experience working on GM from the slew of late 1970s F-Body cars I owned (and I learned how terrible those chassis are as a result) but no experience in Olds or A-Body.

And about my car...

A 1972 Cutlass S, delivered on 6-8-72 to Bill McDavid Oldsmobile in Houston, TX. It sports all OE gear for the most part, original 350 2bbl engine and carburetor. I plan on keeping the car stock for the mileage factor. I am looking to simply replace what's worn on the car, and would like to get the factory 14" wheels and tires back on it eventually, complete with P01 hub caps (it's got 442 wheels on it now)

Add-ons I've purchased but not yet installed include an alarm and a power lock kit.
