Hello from the Netherlands

Howdy all,

First of all thanks to all guys who share their information and post it on this forum, for me the info will be invaluable when I will be modding my 76 Olds Custom Cruiser. My former car was a 96 Impala, I owned the car for 5 years and it was my daily driver, even through the winter with no problems whatsoever, it was my best car EVER. I did all the major mods - Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, K&N intake, Xenon HID, Corvette dress-up, PCM flash etc. Unfortunately I sold the car last month because life is too short to own only one car or I would have kept it. With wife and 2 kids, I bought my dreamcar - a 76 Olds Custom Cruiser 455 from first owner. It is still in the USA and will be shipping shortly over here per container. Living in the Netherlands (20 minutes from Amsterdam - saw SOAD there yesterday) where gas prices are highest in the world it will be carefull planning trips but well worth it

PS. The Olds won't be a daily driver and surely won't be driven in winter. Will be posting pics when my photobucket gets back up.
Thanks for all and keep up the good work!

Welcome to the forum. I love your handle, we need to keep those big Oldsmobiles on the road.

Welcome aboard!
I've always loved those big cars, especially the CC. I had a 73 CC that looks very much like yours only mine had a bit o' rust. Still a really cool car. I used mine for hauling more stuff than a truck would and camping too! It's definitely not the most fuel efficient but it sure rode like a dream.

Congrats on your purchase - hope you'll be really happy with it.

Welcome to CO. Looks like you sold a really nice car but then bought a great classic. I bet there is not too many big American rides cruising around there. Congrats!
