Hello from the Netherlands

Hello all, thought I would join up over here, just bought myself a 1970 98 4-door sedan. Needs a lot of work, but it runs and drives. Going to be in need of plenty of parts and advice as we go along, have already pulled the fuel tank and rear bumper, hoping to have the trunk floor and rear panel welded up and solid in the next week or two, then its work my way forward from there

Cheers guys, its not too bad, worst seems to be the drivers floor and the trunk lid / rear bumper. I know that previous owners have done a few repairs on it, so shall see what shows up when I start getting it back to bare metal. Its gong to be a slow resto, I don't have a garage big enough, so its all being done outside so weather dependant.

Wow. It's tough to do a restoration totally outside as you constantly have to protect against the elements.

Nice that your car is a four-door. You see far fewer of those than the two-door coupes and convertibles. Plus, yours is a hardtop, a four-door style not seen in many years and always a very attractive style, I think.

Good luck.
