Hello from Maryland
I'm new to the forum and looking to learn as much as I can before I buy a 69-72 Cutlass/442. Not new to older cars had 70 Mustang fb, and a real 70 Chevelle SS LS5, 454. My family has always had Oldsmobiles my dad had 66 442, and 71 Cutlass S. he passed last year now I want to get one as my next muscle car. So I guess my search for the right project or car is one. This looks to be the place to be for knowledge and to ask questions. I'm now retired myself raising my younger kids but still have a little time on my hands. What better way than doing a car with my kids. Hope to meet some of you guys and gals at the local meets.

welcome
put your location in your profile so we know where you are, it will help with those local meets your looking at.
I have a similar story, looking to honor my dad by finding a 69 cutlass like he had back in the day.
good luck on your search

Welcome aboard!!! Gotta watch out for those Maryland guys. Just kidding---I'm in Sparks, Maryland which is just south of the PA line off I-83. I have a small collection of Oldsmobiles and might have one for sale if you are interested. You will find just about everyone here is eager to help, answer questions, or just shoot the breeze.
Again, welcome aboard and contact me if you are interested in buying a 442.
Thanks, Dave Siltman.
