My youngest son and I recently purchased a 1966 Olds Delta 88 Holiday Coupe w/ 425 cu in super rocket engine (4barrel) so we’d like to say hi to everyone and thank you for allowing us to be part of your group. We are just getting started with it and I’m positive we will have a lot of questions going forward. Look forward to hearing and hopefully contributing in any way we can.

If you have a borescope take a look at the pistons and post a picture. Hopefully the rebuild was done with high compression pistons.

 

Welcome aboard. Awesome car. Looks are hitting on all cylinders. Body style, color, stance, rims, tires, stagger, baby moon caps, etc. It all works. That part where the baby moons seem to line up with the lower body moulding is icing on the cake.

And that 2nd pic is absolutely badass !

I thought it was black at first, but the 2nd pic looks like midnight blue. Love it.

We were in Winnipeg this June. My Nephew graduated from H.S. and my Niece graduated from the university in Toronto (not sure which). While visiting, I changed out a leaky rack and pinion out of my nephew's 2010 Subaru WRX...you know, the typical thing you do when visiting family!
