Welcome to the group... That paint looks fantastic... The rims, not so much, needs a little more rubber showing on the sidewalls... Was any suspension work needed to accommodate the wheels and tires???

Well I love the car. Wheels can be easily changed. Probably most of us follow the more traditional path but to each his own. Welcome!! Most on this site are actually a welcoming group and will give advice or help as needed... Love the paint!!

Y'know what? Greg's right -- I didn't even say welcome to CO. That's a very pretty car, wheels notwithstanding.

I love the 74 Delta 88s and 98s. They had the most classy grill from 71-76. Let us know if you happen to be troubleshooting any problems right now.

I always thought the 74 88 grilles and especially taillights looked cheesy, but they had to do something to differentiate the 74 from the 71-73 or they'd have had an even harder time selling them. Louvered taillights just don't do it for me (and I'm the same way about 75 Monte Carlos and 89 Mustang GT's). Yours looks nice though- partial to Cranberry on early 70s B/C cars.

Interesting note on the 1974 88s- all California-bound 88's had 455s and all CA-bound Cutlasses had 350s. Goes back to California emissions certifications in different carlines. That's also why all CA-bound Hurst/Oldsmobiles had 350s.

Would recommend a "Parade Boot" painted to match and you need the Script "Delta 88" on the side.

Welcome, Love the paint, beautiful car! but I would have to agree with most that the tires and wheels need to go!

Lol! Thanks, I am currently looking for a different set of wheels & tires. Any suggestions? Pics?

Also I am having an issue with the power windows, they were working but suddenly all 4 stopped working. I checked the fuses under the dash and they all appear OK, is there another fuse block somewhere else? I don't have any info to go on and i tried to search online & came up empty. Thanks.

If you're going to do any work on the car, do yourself a favor and get a chassis service manual. Look on E-bay. Best money you'll ever spend.

x2

You'll also want a Factory Service Manual.

If your power windows aren't working you can use a multi-meter to check for 12V at the power window motor.
