Welcome!

Good to have you with us! Olds 64 will no doubt be happy to have another "cruise ship" on site to counter-balance all the "raceboats" [69 442's] buzzing around the fleet!...Derek

Welcome.

I'm in Cleveland, Ohio, the dirty city.

I do commend and thank your fair city for the "Detroit Lean" driving technique/style.
I should have of put a center armrest seat in the Vista Cruiser, can hardly drive unless my head is directly in the middle of the car.
I guess I'll just have to use my trusty 8-track carrying case.

Welcome

Nice nighty-eight you got there. Another land yacht for olds64's club , I have a 69-98 convertible and love cruising in it but still waiting for new valve covers then she will be out on the roads.

Very cool indeed! I like the wheels and tires. You must tell use what kind of wheels they are, what kind of tires you have. Inquiring minds need to know!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I just bought this car a couple of weeks back as a birthday gift to myself (I love it, wife hates it). The wheels came with the car and really need a good cleaning. I will take a closer look at them this evening and give you details later on in regards to brand and size.

Someone please enlighting about this "Land Yacht" club... whats its all about?

After looking at the pictures (very nice car, indeed!) I think it qualifies as a Land Yacht (i.e. VERY Large Oldsmobile, IMHO).

I allow all owners of 4 door B and C bodies to be in the Land Yacht club. I am the instigator and president of this club because I got tired of 2 doors and Cutlasses.

Welcome aboard! Ok, so no pun intended...

Nice looking car - I like the wheels.

Here is a full explanation of our view of "land yachts":
https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...and-yacht.html

Your would easily classify - I think it weighs close to 5k lbs dry!
The wife will need to get used to it. That is what real luxury was then...
