Hello Another Hoosier

After several years looking around it’s time for an introduction; I’m a Hoosier living in central Indiana and the proud 4th owner (second registered owner) of a 72 442 that appear to be original, the car have been in southwest Indiana most of its life, until I purchased it 3yrs ago and moved it to central Indiana.

Second owner purchased the car and rebuilt the engine and transmission; because the 2nd owner had a kid going off to college he sold the car to my nephew. My nephew let the car sit for 2 to 3 years before he decided to sell it to me.

Plans to do a frame on restoration and keep the car original with some updates (front disc and change interior color from green to black).
I know the routine….will post picture as soon as I get them

Cheers!

Welcome from a "former Hoosier." Born/raised in Gary, which you guys do not like to have to admit is part of Indiana. I spent seven years in Indy, getting an education.

D. Yaros......I have friends currently living or have lived in Gary most are trying to flee.

You get back there much?

I still have relatives there. Even so, it is only occasionally that I ever get back. When I do, it scares me, and I do not scare easily!
