Hello

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I live in Colorado. I am new to the forum as well as new to any forum so I'll be stumbling around trying to figure out how to navigate this thing. Any time I have an urge to spend two hours on the web (never), I force myself to go tinker in the shop instead so I am not too good on the computer. I have a 1956 Olds Super 88 Holiday Coupe and a 1961 Starfire that are in restoration and are are roughly at the same point in the process. Both cars are getting close and I am beginning the assembly stage so I'd be lying if I said I joined for something to do. I'll probably be bugging you all for info as I work my way through the detail portion of these projects. I plan to have both cars drivable by next spring but we will see.
About the cars, I am making my Starfire as original as possible. I hope it is an exceptional car when it is complete.
My 56 began as a half done project with many missing pieces, therefor many reproduction parts and some slight modifications have been done but it is an all numbers matching drivetrain and it is going to be a cool car.
If I paid myself 2$ bucks an hour I have about a trillion dollars in both cars.
I also have a parts car 56 coupe Super 88 as well. There is not much left and I planned on storing away what little is left when I am done but if anyone is in a bind for something you might let me know and I'll see if I have it.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Jeff

Jeff, It sounds like you will fit right in with this group as they are big on helping out other members who are rodding or restoring. Lots of parts trading hands here as well. Welcome.

Thanks guys! I will post pictures soon. I assume I have to put them on photobucket or something and then upload or download or otherwise get them on here. If I can't figure it out my granddaughter will help:-) I have friends in town so it'll be a few days.
