Hello right back at ya! And welcome aboard. Very nice looking 72 - is it the base Cutlass or the Cutlass S without the badging? If it's a Cutlass S the VIN will start out as 3G87, if it's the base Cutlass it will start out as 3F87. Love to hear more about how you got it and any future plans for it. Looks like it has the 'two tone' paint option - rather cool considering how many of these cars had vinyl trim. It's the same molding used for both.

glad to be aboard

thanks for the warm reception guys. I am located in southeast pa. I believe it is a base cutlass(actually have to look at he vin once).the top is actually vinyl. I have added most of the 442 options except the grills and badging. If anyone is interested there will be an olds ,pontiac, and buick show on sunday august 11 at the Hershey museum, there is further info available on the blue/ gray oldsmobile club website.
