hello

just wanted to say hello, 1st post here.......got a 70 442 w30 holiday coup that will be in need of some work because of sitting for the past 20 years not being used.

thanks for the welcome, since the car has been sitting for the past 20 years will be in need of some resto work. hopefully the engine will turn over and trans seals hold. all this had been done 5 years prior to letting it sit. tires are all rotten and on the rims (kinda has the lowrided look). lots of work ahead

The picture is a good referance point for how the car could look in the future. Looks like it was a real nice car back then so it can be again.

Welcome ! I am also fairly new to the site and like you have a 1970 442 W-30 that has needed some work. I owned a 1969 Toronado prior to this car for over ten years. It has been very helpful to be part of this forum because there are so many experienced Olds people that have offered excellent assistance and advice. I have been taking advantage of the knowledge base here and it has helped a great deal.
