Just bought a 425 D block motor with G heads (instead of the B heads) which headers would fit in 65 442 with the least amount of modification, also motor has 4 speed crank did Oldsmobile make a 425 with crank bored for pilot bushing or did that happen after the fact ?

The 425 crank was not drilled for stick unless it came in a standard trans designated engine.

 

I know cranks were not either or, was there a factory 4 speed 425 engine

 

Yes there were in 65 and 66 but thru all years 65-66-67 there was also 3 spd manual on the column as standard on some models with 425.

 

The early 400 (65/67) and 425 crank are the same. So a drilled crank is very possible
